Feature Windows & Door Frames

Information

We produce combined windows and door frames using any standard Stormsure window and external door frame and assemble them complete with continuous heads.

Codes for combined windows and door frames are the window codes, prefixed by MN for inward opening doors and MX for outward opening doors. Imperial frames are suffixed with either 26 or 29 to denote the size of door required – i.e. 2'6'' (762mm) or 2'9'' (838mm) wide.

We can also supply door frames which open on the left hand side when viewed from outside the building.

“As catalogue” denotes the door frame opening on the right. When you order, please state either “hand as catalogue” or “hand opposite to catalogue”. Where the window component of the frame can be supplied either hand, please note that an “as catalogue” frame has an “as catalogue” window, and an “opposite catalogue” frame has an “opposite catalogue” window.

All glass units adjacent to door openings must be toughened or safety laminated. In certain designs, the alignment of glazing bars (or rails) in windows and doors, while complementing each other, do not necessarily line through. Each design is different – if in doubt, please check before ordering.
