We are one of the world’s leading manufacturer and distributor of quality windows, external and internal doors, patio doors, garage doors and stairs. We offer one of the largest ranges in the UK and our products enhance thousands of homes across the country. And we make sure our products are readily available, through our nationwide network of suppliers.
JELD-WEN UK was first established in the UK in 1999, when the privately-owned worldwide joinery manufacturer JELD-WEN Inc purchased the former John Carr and Boulton & Paul companies from the Rugby Group to form JELD-WEN UK Ltd. As part of a US-owned company, which has over 150 divisions and more than 20,000 employees worldwide, we have access to extensive resources and are proud of our commitment to UK manufacturing.
As a manufacturer, we have sites across the country, including our head office and door production facility in Sheffield. We have two factories in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, one that it dedicated to timber windows and patio door frames and one that is the largest volume production facility for timber stairs factory in the UK. Also at Penrith, our factory specialises in the manufacture of veneered, foil and moulded internal doors.
Whichever range you select, we believe that joinery products should give you ‘Reliability for real life’ – standing up to the demands of today’s market, whilst providing you with the peace of mind that you have a well manufactured, quality product.

We are proud to manufacture our products from timber, the only truly sustainable material and we have full Chain of Custody certification to ensure our products originate from well managed forests. Our factories are also fully accredited to ISO14001, which demonstrates our commitment to the environment and sustainable use of resources.
